CombiDress SF – TAČR 9

Submicrofibrous oxidized cellulose accelerating the blood stop

The aim of the project is to prepare, optimize and test on animal models nano/submicrofibrous hemostatics based on polyanhydroglucuronic acid derivatives, also known as m-doc ™ (micro-dispersed oxidized cellulose). The innovativeness of the presented project lies in the hybrid spinning of m-doc ™ powder with the creation of completely new, unique fibrous hemostatic with an increased surface accelerating stop of bleeding. The partial goals are to improve and optimize the composition of the existing active polymer m-doc ™ and to develop a hemostatic wound dressing for topical wound based on combined nano/submicron fibers.
