Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Wyatt DynaPro NanoStar

Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Wyatt DynaPro NanoStar, CEITEC Biomaterials

Description

  • based on the Brownian random motion used for calculation of particles size (hydrodynamic radius, Rh) of measured structures dissolved/dispersed in solution.

Applications

  • used for analysis of proteins, micelles, colloids, metallic nanoparticles, quantum dots
  • study of particles interactions, particles stability in solutions, surface modification of particles

Specifications

  • Rh from 1 ̶ 2500 nm
  • very small volume of samples from 4 μL (disponsable cuvettes)
  • „standard“ high-volume quartz cuvette with silicon lid eliminating solvent evaporation
  • analysis in aqueous solution and in organic solvents
  • temperature range from 10 ̶ 100°C, laser wavelength 658 nm
  • analysis of very diluted samples (0.1 mg/mL pro lysozyme)
